In this episode I got a good feel for the characters, there are the cool slick type (the Fonz), the dorky type (Richie), the flirty type and the sophisticated type. The "Happy Days" series reminds me of the movie "Grease", the clothes, the cars, the hair and the technology. I noticed that most of are really peppy and "don't kiss on the first date" The 50's seems like a fun generation to live in and I am really looking forward to the musical this year!

Get Happy
Today I watched the episode "Richie's car", the second episode of the second season. In this episode Richie is embarrassed of his father driving him everywhere. As a result Richie convinces his parents to get him a car, they buy it from Fonzie. The car is a tricked out red convertible with the words "Love Bandit" on the side. Howard doesn't want to buy it so they pant it blue and convince him its beneficial for their lifestyle. Ritchie then learns shortly after that it is a stolen car and confesses to the police who take him to the station. With Fonzie's smooth talking and confidence he rolls in and saves the day, turns out the car wasn't stolen and Richie gets to paint it red again.

I love how the Fonz can just stroll in and fix any matter, even when it's about a stolen car! Man these people are crazy!
ReplyDeleteThat episode was funny! Do you think that Richie is a "Red Convertible" person like he wants to be in the episode? I think that the car is too fancy for him! I am surprised at how fast they decided on a car to buy, usually now a days you research your car before you buy it, I guess that there weren't as many choices of cars back then or something.
